To reassure you all in these very difficult times , The Witherslack super fast broadband team is still working hard with B4RN to progress our project. The wider B4RN broadband business is classed as an essential service and a business as usual approach following uk govt regulations is being followed.
For our part we are holding virtual meetings avoiding face to face contact. GREAT NEWS we have reached the 30% target set by B4rn The next challenge for us is to start processing formal wayleaves with landowners on route 1, which will get us from Levens to our village hall at Town End. With the help and cooperation of those landowners involved we hope to progress this stage avoiding any direct physical contact via telephone, email or/and post. We will not start the build until the current restrictions are removed and we have all the wayleaves in place for route 1 from Levens to the village hall head end During this difficult period we will try and keep you up to date on what’s going on. If you have any questions in the mean time please email [email protected]
![]() There are still some questions and reservations regarding the B4RN project for Witherslack, therefore the B4RN team have organised another Village Drop-In event on 7th November from 7pm (doors open at 6.30) in the Village Hall with refreshments. David Ryall from B4RN will be present to assist us all. You will also have the opportunity to register for your Gigabit Voucher at this event. For all the latest information reagrding the Witherslack B4RN project see the B4RN page.
